Dynamics of Youth (DoY)

Dynamics of Youth is a strategic theme of Utrecht University. Within Dynamics of Youth scientists from all fields of expertise study how children and young people develop in our changing society. The strategic theme comprises four communities that focus on different aspects of child development;

• Early Childhood: Focus on development ranging from conception until 6 years of age.
• Thriving and Healthy Youth: Focus on enhancing development opportunities, resilience and destigmatising children and youths.
• Youth Education and Life Skills: Focus on enhancing opportunities in education, and learning and teaching from a global perspective.
• Becoming Adults in a Changing World: Focus on the phase between adolescence and adulthood (ages 12–24) and the rapidly changing world in which the young people of today are growing up.

We are looking forward to tell the ILS community about our aims, what we can do for you as researcher and what we have been doing over the past one and a half years. During the talk we will invite you to think about the interdisciplinary part of your own research and to explore how it may relate to other fields.
